Yay or Nay? - Camouflage

Ist das denn wirklich ein fragwürdiger Trend? - Ich denk schon. Oder vielleicht denke ich einfach zu viel darüber nach.

Ohne Zweifel, ich finde es sieht absolut lässig aus, vorallem solche oversized-vintage Camouflagejacken kann man richtig cool mit Röhrenjeans oder süßen Kleidern kombinieren.

Jedoch steht Camouflage nunmal offensichtlich für Krieg. Und wie bei eigentlich allen Trends, sollte man kurz darüber nachdenken, was man eigentlich damit ausstrahlt, denn Mode ist meiner Meinung nach nicht nur schön anzusehen, sondern auch ein Statement.

In meinem Herkunftsland herrscht momentan Krieg, wie ihr vielleicht mitbekommen habt, und irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, dass wenn ich mit Camouflagezeugs rumlaufen würde, das Geschehen dort in einer Weise parodiere oder nicht Ernst nehme, da ich es für meine materialistischen Modezwecke auszunutze.

Auch den "Kreuz-Trend" meide ich, da das Kreuz nunmal ein religiöses Symbol ist...

Ist eine schwierige Sache & ich glaube viele von euch sind da auch komplett anderer Meinung, aber man muss ja auch nicht jeden Trend mitmachen. :)

Is that a questionable trend? - Well, I think so. Or maybe I just think to much about it.

No doubt, I think it looks absolutely cool and casual, especially those oversized-vintage-Camouflage jackets go so well with skinny jeans or a cute dress.

However, camouflage obviously stands for war. And concerning all trends, you should take a second to think about what you express with the clothes you are wearing. Cause if you ask me, Fashion is not only nice to look at, but it's also a statement.

There is war in my country of origin at the moment, and somehow I would feel uncomfortable wearing camouflage, as it would seem to me as if I am not taking serious the war or even parody it while misusing the trend for my materialistic fashion purposes.

I also avoid the "crosses trend", cause in fact its a religous symbol...

It's a difficult topic & I think many of you won't agree with me, but of course everyone can decide for him/herself ;)

Autumn Outfits #1

Jaja, wir können den Herbst alle nicht abwarten, weil einfach so viele tolle Klamotten auf uns warten.

Mir gehts doch auchso, aber momentan ist es leider noch zu warm für Pullis, Jacken und Boots.

Aber dafür gibt's doch Polyvore, mit dem man schöne Outfitcollagen basteln kann um schonmal zu planen was man so für den Herbst kombinieren könnte. Führt jedoch auch zur weiteren Steigung der Vorfreude... :p

Ich hab bisher 6 Outfits zusammengestellt, die ersten 3 gibt's heute. Jedes Outfit enthällt ein paar Keypieces die ich persönlich für diesen Herbst als Must-Have einstufe ;)

Yeaaa, we all cannot wait for autumn to come, because so many new, cool outfits are waiting for us.

I feel the same you guys, but I'm afraid, at the moment its still too warm for Knit, Jackets and Boots.

But that's why there's Polyvore, with which you can make great outfit collages, and already plan what you will wear and how you will combine your new stuff for autumn. Leads to further excitement for autumn though... :p

I created 6 outfits so far, of which i am going to show you 3 today. Every outfit contains some Keypieces that I consider essential for this autumn ;)

Outfit No. 1

1. Der Parka in khaki: Ein bisschen Military, ein bisschen Grunge. Gibt's momentan fast überall, zB. bei Zara, Topshop oder Asos.
2. Statement Ketten: Kenn wa schon.
3. Fette Boots, wie zB die Timberlands

1. Hosen mit crazy Muster: Die gestreifte ist zB von Motel.
2. Electric Blue + Lederjacken: Ich find die Farbe wahnsinn. Ähnliche Modelle wie auf dem Bild gibt's momentan bei H&M und Mango.
3. Pistol Boots: Nichts neues, aber immernoch ziemlich nice.

1. Bouclé: Ich bin echt ein großer Fan von Bouclé. Ich liebe den Stoff einfach und find solche Kombis aus Shorts und passender Jacke einfach sau schön.

Yay or Nay? Julian Hakes Mojioto Sandals

Als ich grad mal wieder ein bisschen durch Online-Schuh Shops gestöbert habe, sind mir erstmal direkt diese verrückten Heels von Julian Hakes bei mirapodo.de aufgefallen! Erstmal dachte ich echt WTF? - das sind Schuhe? Wie soll man das überhaupt tragen?
Danke mirapodo, dass ihr die Schuhe echt aus allen Winkeln fotographiert habt, weil sont hätte ich da wirklich nicht durchgeblickt.
Ich finde die Teile sehn echt ziemlich scharf aus und auch die Farbkombinationen sind echt genial. Leider befürchte ich jedoch, dass sie nicht gaaanz so gemütlich sind, da nur die Ferse und der Fußballen gestützt sind. Aber Gemütlichkeit ist bei Heels ja meistens eh zweitranging ...
Und dafür, dass das echt ein sau ungewöhnliches, neues Schuhdesign ist, ist der Preis von 179€ eigentlich auch okay(zumindest für Heels-Junkies ;) )
Also ich sag mal ... YAY :)

As I was just looking through some online shoe shops again, I directly noticed these super crazy heels by Julian Hakes on mirapodo.de! First I really thought WTF is this? - are those heels? How are you supposed to wear this?
Thanks mirapodo, that you take photos out of every single angle, cause otherwise I wouldn't have understood the whole style.
I think they look fierce and also the colour combinations are genius.
Though, I'm afraid they are not comfy at all, as only the ball and heel of your foot are supported by this shoe. But, honestly, the comfort of high heels is not really the first thing we look after when buying shoes...
And the price of 179€ is quite okay I would say ( at least for High-Heel addicts), as this design is super new and rare.
So... I say YAY :)

Yay or Nay? Half in - Half out

Asymmetrie ist diese Saison zwar absolut angesagt - Vokuhila Röcke ! - aber diese Art und Weise ein Hemd zu tragen scheint schon ein wenig bizarr. Hatte man da etwa keine Zeit mehr um das Hemd ordentlich in die Hose zu stecken, oder hat man's einfach vergessen? Nunja, man kann ja viele Trends hinterfragen. Ich selbst weiß nocht nicht was ich davon halten soll, ich denke es kommt sehr stark drauf an WIE man es trägt und mit anderen Kleidungsstücken kombiniert. Vielleicht kommt es sogar darauf an WER es trägt, damit man nicht wie ein unordentlicher Muffel rüberkommt ;)
Deshalb gibt's ein gemäßigtes Yay von mir für diesen Trend!
Was meint ihr?

Asymmetric cuts are super popular this season - hem skirts! - but honestly, this way of wearing a shirt is really a bit bizarre.  Didn't you have enough time to put your shirt properly into your trousers, or did you just forget about the other half of it? Well, definitely you can question a lot of trends! 
If you ask me, I am still not quite sure what to think about that one. I think it depends a lot on how you wear it and combine it with other clothes. Maybe it even depends on the person itsself, if you dont want to look like a messy grump ;)
That's why I give a temperate Yay for this trend!

Trend: Converse Chucks Revival

Naja, Converse Chucks waren nie wirklich out. Die Teile sind nunmal super bequem und halt wahre Klassiker in Sachen Sneakers. Ich glaube fast jeder hat auch ein Paar davon im Kleiderschrank, jedoch hatte ich in den letzten Jahren das Gefühl, dass sie nicht mehr zu meinem Stil oder meinen Outfits passen... Ich verbinde meine alten, dunkelgrünen Chucks einfach zu sehr mit den Emozeiten ( LANG ists her haha). Nun scheint es aber in letzter Zeit so, als wenn die Converse Chucks ein erneutes Mal neu entdeckt wurden, denn plötzlich kann man die Treter echt zu allem kombinieren! Natürlich zu Jeans und Shorts aber auch zu aller Art von Röcken - Pencil, Teller, Maxi - es ist alles möglich.
Und wem die normalen Chucks dennoch zu langweilig sind und nicht auf die Sommertrends Nieten oder Neon verzichten will, der muss auch nicht. Man kann ganz einfach Nieten hinzufügen oder sich neonfarbene Chucks holen!

Also, werdet ihr auch eure Converse Chucks wieder rauskramen?

Well, Converse Chucks have never really been out of fashion. They are comfy and truly you can call them classic if it comes to sneakers. I think almost everyone has a pair of them in their closet, however, during the last years I always got the feeling that they just do not suit my style nor outfits anymore... I kinda connect my old, dark green Converse with the emo-times(LONG time ago haha). But now again it seems as if the Converse Chucks have been rediscovered in a new way, cause now they simply can be worn to everything! Of course with jeans and shorts, but also to every kind of skirts - Pencil, Skater, Maxi - everything is possible.
And if you still think they are kinda boring and you do not want to live without this summer's trends studs or neon, you dont have to. Just be creative, add studds or buy yourself a pair of neon converse!

Trend: Batwing Bags

Heute möchte ich euch einen ziemlich neuen Taschentrend vorstellen: Die Batwing Tote Bag, auch öfters Smiling Tote Bag genannt, da die Taschen (mit viel Fantasie) wie ein Lächeln aussehen.  Ich find die Teile süß, vorallem im Colourblocking Design. Die IT-Bag unter diesem Modell ist die Luggage Phantom Square Bag von Céline. Aaaber ich hab euch ein paar schöne, bezahlbare Alternativen rausgesucht.
Wie findet ihr diese Taschen?

Yay or Nay? Pastel Hair & Pyjama Look

...okay sieht ja ganz süß aus, erinnert einen an Bonbons und Süßigkeiten... aber spätestens in 3 Monaten hat man sich an diesem Haartrend sattgesehen und dann darf man versuchen diesen schrecklichen Pink-, Lila-, Grün-, usw. stich rauszukriegen. Zudem muss man bei solchen Haarfarben sau drauf achten was für Farben man anzieht.
.... für mich ist dieser Trend deshalb ein klares NAY! 

... okay it looks cute, reminds me of  lollipops and sweets... but after, let's say 3 months you  desperately will want to get rid of it, cause you see this trend everywhere! So when you're at that point, have fun removing the awful leftovers of your pastel colour. And plus, you always have to pay attention to what colours you can actually wear with such a haircolour.
... therefore for me this trend is a definite NAY!

Trend: Knöchelriemen

Zara SALE 16,99€, Bianco 54 €, Mango 70 €

Wuunderschönen guten Tag meine Guten.
Heute möchte ich euch einen Schuhtrend vorstellen, den ich absolut super finde.
Unzwar Heels mit Knöchelriemen bzw. Fesselriemen.
Zu finden gibt's das zwar schon bei so vielen flachen, sowie hohen Schuhen, ich jedoch liebe es vor allem bei schwarzen Abendsandaletten wie auf dem Bild unten. Ich weiß nicht ob dieses Modell einenbestimmten Namen hat (Google kann mir da auch nicht weiterhelfen), aber ich finde sie absolut elegant und mal wieder eine gute Abwechslung zu den momentan beliebten dicken Heels und Plateaus.  
Kombinieren kann man sie natürlich zu Abendkleidern, jedoch auch zu einer lässigen Jeans und sogar zu einer Boyfriendjeans für einen sportlich-eleganten Look.
Gepflegte Füße sind da jedoch absolute Vorraussetzung, sonst kanns natürlich übel aussehen, da die Füße kaum versteckt sind ;)
Ich selbst konnte nicht anders und habe mir gestern die schwarz/silbernen Heels vom Zara Online Sale gekauft für stolze 16,99€!
Ich freu mich schon auf die Treter und werde natürlich sobald die da sind ein Outfitpost machen!

Today I want to present you a shoe trend, that i absolutely love: Heels with ankle strap.
I know, it's not that new and you can already find it on flat, aswell as on high heeled shoes,  but I mostly adore it with black sandals like the ones on the picture. I have no idea if exactly this model has a certain name(also google couldn't help me), but I think they are so elegant and also a good alternative to the currently popular thick heels and plateau.
You can of course combine this trend with an evening dress, however, also with denim jeans or even boyfriendjeans, they would make a sporty-elegant look.
Make sure you have well-manicured feet though, as you cant hide your feet in those kind of sandals ;)
I couldnt resist and had to buy those Zara ones yesterday. Amazingly, I got them for only 16,99€ from Zara's online Sales!
I'm totall looking forward to receiving them and sure I will directly make an outfit post.

Flower vs. Spikes Headband

Blumen- und Spikehaarbänder sind momentan echt super beliebt.
Während die eine Variante eher feminin, verspielt und boho ist, ist die andere mehr rockig, aggressiv.
Ich selbst trage nicht gerne Haarbänder - das würde ein Disaster mit meinen Haaren ergeben, aber ich persönlich mag die Spikehaarbänder lieber, da mir die Blumenhaarbänder irgendwie zu süß sind und irgendiwe nicht zu mir passen find ich :)

Welchen Stil findet ihr besser?

Flower and spikes headbands are super popular at the moment.
Whereas the one version is very feminin, playful and boho, the other one is rocky and kinda aggressive.
I dont really like wearing headbands, cause they would cause a mess with my hair, but personally I like the spikes headbands more, cause the flower ones just too sweet and wouldn't really suit me I think.


Which Style do you like more?

Trend: All white!

Colourblocking, Blumenprints, Neonfarben ... diesen Sommer wird's echt bunt getrieben. Manchmal kann es da einem echt schon zu viel werden.
Umso schöner finde ich den All-white bzw White-in-white Look.
Simpel, minimalistisch und trotzdem außergewöhnlich wie ich finde... und perfekt für Tage an dem man einfach kein Lust auf Farben hat.
Fashion Blogger, NastyGal und das Lookbook von Zara vom Juni zeigen da ein paar Varianten.
Wenn man jedoch nicht auf Farbe verzichten will, kann man die Accessoires in bunt wählen und zum Hingucker machen.
Ich selbst bin eigentlich auch nicht so der Typ, der auf Buntes steht... wie ihr vielleicht schon bemerkt habt, muss ich immer irgendwas schwarzes tragen... Im Laden greif ich auch immer direkt zum Schwarzen.... Aber naja für diesen Sommer habe ich mir vorgenommen ein bisschen bunter rumzulaufen :) ... immerhin hab ich schon 'ne organgene Hose! haha

Therefore I really like the all-white or white-in-white look.
Its simple, minimalistic and at the same time special ... perfect for those days where you just dont want to wear any bright colours.

If you, however, desperately need some colours, you can simply choose coloured accessories, which will catch the attention.
Actually I am also not really the type of person who loves colourful clothing... you may noticed in my previous outfit posts that I always need to wear something black! While shopping, I just tend to always grab the black thing, cause to me, it always looks best.
Anyway, this summer I am really trying to wear some more colours... I mean, at least I already have orange pants! haha

Oh man, schon seit längerem gefallen mir die Bandagenkleider von Hervé Léger so unglaublich gut!
Die Farbkombinationen(Colour-blocking vom Feinsten), die femininen Schnitte und vor allem das Material!
Es ist ziemlich dick und schwer, bestehend aus mehrern Bandagenreihen und entällt 1% Spandex, was im Endeffekt den Unterschied macht.
Die Kleider sitzend deshalb echt hauteng und machen eine richtig gute, stramme Figur!
Leider jedoch erst ab ca. 1.300€  zu haben...
In Geschäften findet man zwar nachgemachte Versionen, jedoch ist oft das Material ein leichter, dünner Jersey, mit nur angedeuteten Bandagenreihen.
Auf www.sheinside.com habe ich jedoch einige Variaten gefunden, die zumindest auf den Fotos und auf den Models schon richtig dem Original nahekommen(ab 69€).
In der neuen Kollektion von Tally Weijl habe ich jedoch auch 3 Bodycon Kleider gefunden, die einen super Eindruck gemacht haben(30€ !!). Ich hätte mir letztens beinahe eins in schwarz/royalblau von dorft geholt... habs aber doch sein lassen ... und jetzt bereue ich's :(
Naja irgendwann hol ich mir sicher ein Bandagen-Kleid, eventuell bestelle ich mir eins bei sheinside.com und werde euch dann davon berichten!

Oh boy, for such a long time now I am in love with the bodycon dresses by Hervé Léger.
The colours(colourblocking yayy), the feminin styles and the great material make his dresses so special. The material is quite heavy and thick due to the many bandages, and it includes 1% spandex. Therefore these dresses are superskinny and form such a great body! They are almost like a shaping product!
Price: ca. 1300€ +
So if you are searching for alternatives, you often only come across those ones made out of thin, light jersey, that do not really wrap tightly around your body as the Hervé ones do.
However, sheinside.com seem to have quite good imitations(~69€), as far as I can see from the pictures and the models wearing them. 
Also Tally Wejil's new summer collection includes three kind of bodycon dresses(30€!), of which I almost bought one in black/royal blue... than did not do it... and now regret it.
Anyway, I might try with sheinside.com and let you know about it!

Ohrschmuck Trends

Ich freu mich echt sehr, dass der Ohrschmuck diese Saison so vielseitig ist. Als ich auf verschiedenen Online-Shops rumgeschaut habe ist mir so viel origineller Ohrschmuck aufgefallen und ich werd mir definitiv auch bald die sogenannten "Ohrmanschetten" oder "Ohrclips" zulegen!
Wie gefällt euch diese neuen Styles?

I am really happy about this seasons ear-jewellery because there are so many different new styles. So, while I was going through online-shops I came across so many creative so-called "ear cuffs" or "ear wraps" and "ear clips" and decided to definitely buy some for myself!

Wie versprochen, gibt's mein Outfit von gestern Abend.  Mein Make-up dazu war nicht außergewöhnlich, einfach ein etwas dickerer Lidstrich. Wir hatten übrigens 'ne Menge Spaß...
Diese Ketten-/Schalmuster finde ich momentan echt super schön. Sieht meiner Meinung nach sehr elegant aus und kombiniert mit bunten Farben auch sehr casual.

As promised I posted my outfit from yesterday night.  My Make-up was simple with only a thick eyeliner. We had so much fun by the way...
I really like those Scarf-/Chain motives because they are so elegant and also can be so casual if combined with bright colours.

Fransen! Fransen!

Tubetop NewYorker, Shorts H&M, Kimono Reverse

Ich liebe den Kimono, den ich meiner Mama gemopst habe... super luftig und die Fransen wehen so schön im Wind *-*  Wenn man ihn trägt fühlt man sich sogar ein Stück Hippie/Boho mäßig ;)

Fransen sind so wie Nieten. Egal wie langweilig ein Top/Shirt/Rock/Kleid etc. ist, fügt man 'n paar Fransen oder Nieten hinzu, schon ist es ein Hingucker.
Und die Teile kann man echt überall dran machen! Aber lasst euch selbst inspirieren ;)
Aber auf meiner Shopping-Liste steht auf jeden Fall als nächstes 'ne schwarze Fransentasche an!
... oder ich bastel mir selbst was schönes.

I totally love the Kimono, which I stole from my Mum. Also the feeling of wearing it it the wind is just so fresh.. you feel kinda boho/ like a hippie actually haha!
I think  fringes are like studs - if you add them to any normal shirt/top/skirt/dress etc. the piece will eventually turn out stunning again. And you can reaally add them everywhere! So, just get inspired and do some DIY!
On my shopping list, there is definitely a cute little bag with fringes! ... or I try myself with a DIY project...

Galaxy Print

Viele Fashionblogger fahren momentan total auf den Galaxyprint ab - ob auf Röcken, Leggings, Oberteilen oder sogar auf Schuhen! Ich selbst bin mir noch nicht ganz so sicher was ich davon halten soll. Auf einem lockeren T-Shirt oder als Body kann ich mir diesen Aufdruck schon gut vorstellen aber als Rock oder sogar als Kleid wär mir persönlich glaube ich doch zu krass.
Die australische Marke "Black Milk" hat den Hype ins Leben gerufen. Die Marke wirbt mit Herstellung im eigenen Lande, wahrscheinlich sind die beliebten Leggings deshalb für um die 60Euro zu haben.
Ziemlich teuer meiner Meinung nach, jedoch habe ich auf dem Markt noch keine guten, vergleichbaren Modelle gesehn.
Glücklicherweise gibt es schon ziemlich viele DIY Galaxy Print Videos und ich finde die DIY Variante sieht auch ziemlich gut aus!

Ginatricot 10€ - Romwe.com 25€ - Miss Selfridge 50€

So many fashion bloggers are going crazy about galaxy prints at the moment. You can find it on skirts, leggings, t-shirts and even on shoes! If you ask me, I am still not sure if I like it or not. I could imagine it on a a loose T-shirt or on a body, but personally I would not wear galaxy print skirts or dresses.
Responsibile for the hype is the australian brand "Black Milk", that advertises its products with homemade production, which is probably also why you need to pay 60Euros for their popular leggings. Quite expensive, but I still did not see any comparable ones yet.
Lucky, the print is also DIYable! I think it can turn out really nice. So just check it out!

Die neuen Röcke!

Supernice finde ich diesen Sommer ja die neuen Rockstyles.
Ich habe einfach mal vier verschiedene Styles rausgesucht, die momentan super beliebt sind und auch absolut tragbar sind. (Ist ja immer so 'ne Sache mit Modetrends)
Sie sind so schön feminin und können sowohl casual tagsüber, als auch elegant oder rockig getragen werden. Ob in Pastelfarben, knalligen Farben, Muster oder einfach simpel in schwarz... ich glaube da ist echt für jede was dabei. 


Zum einen gäbe es da die asymmetrischen Röcke, die hinten einen langen Saum haben und vorne kürzer sind, genannt "Hem Skirts".

Als nächstes habe ich lange Chiffon Maxiröcke rausgesucht, welche meiner Meinung nach total den Beinen schmeicheln.

Daaaann gibt es auch noch was für alle Minirock-Liebhaber! Unzwar diese superengen Taillenröcke mit "Schößchen": Betont die schmale Taille und macht 'nen super Hintern ;) Und in Pasteltönen einfach nur supercute.

Und zuletzt noch die sogenannten "pleated skirts", also Plissee Röcke. Werden zwar oft mit Oma's Rock von vor 40 Jahren assoziiert, aber in heutiger Ausführung super frisch!

The trending skirt styles for this summer are just supernice. 

For this post, I pointed out four different styles which are totally popular at the moment and which are not too "high fashion" to really wear them.

They are very feminin and you can wear them in so many different ways. You also find a huge colour variety: pastels, bright/neon colours or just simple black - there is something for everyone.
I chose the following styles: the hem skirt, the maxi chiffon skirt, the peplum mini skirt and the pleated skirt. Also available as dresses!

In letzter Zeit liebe ich es Hemden zu tragen! Egal ob aus Chiffon, Spitze, oversized oder mit Badwings - ich find sie einfach super. Der Kragen macht den Unterschied ...

Daher find ich die "Fake-Collars" die man momentan in den Läden findet absolut klasse. Meiner Meinung nach können die Teile garnicht genug Nieten/Pailetten/Ketten haben, denn die peppen einfach jedes noch so öde T-Shirt auf.

Wer jedoch nicht auf seinen echten Kragen verzichten will, den aber auch zum Hingucker machen will kann sich diese tollen Colliers holen, die man einfach um den Kragen machen kann.

At the moment I can not stop wearing shirts - no matter what style or material. Its the collar that actually makes the difference ... 

Thats why I am totally in love with those "fake collars"!  The more studs/sequins/chains, the better! 

And if you are up to wearing a "real collar", you can turn it special with those amazing colliers. 

Keilabsatz Sneaker à la Isabel Marant

Absolut super finde ich momentan Keilabsatz Sneaker ! Meiner Meinung nach eine geniale Kombination für alle, die nicht auf ihre superbequemen Sneaker verzichten wollen, aber dennoch die Vorteile des "größer seins" genießen wollen ;)
Vorgänger sind die Schuhe von Isabel Marant. Für normale Menschen natürlich viel zu teuer mit um die 800$.
Jedoch bietet ASOS, aber auch schon Zalando sehr gute Imitate - welche mir in der Tat sogar mehr gefallen als die Orginalen. Momentan um die 100€.
Kürzlich habe ich sogar welche bei Deichmann entdeckt - einmal super cool mit Leomuster und Klettverschluss und in blau/rot/weiß! Da musste ich doch direkt mal zuschlagen. Aus Wildleder, für 50Euro.


Wie findet ihr den Trend? Würdet ihr Keilabsatz Sneaker anziehen?

At the moment I am totally in love with Sneaker Wedges! The combination of comfy sneakers and elegant wedges is just genius! For all girls who cannot give up on heels.
The original ones are by Isabel Marant, however way too expensive for normal people with a price of around 800$.
Anyway, ASOS and Zalando are already selling very cool imitations - which I actually think might be even nicer as the original ones. At the moment you can buy them for around 100€.
A few days ago I even found some at Deichmann! Leopard ones, and classic ones in blue/red/white, which I ended up buying :)
